Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) says it has so far collected $150 million since the start the second Traffic Ticket Amnesty on November 27, 2017.

It says it’s seeing a last-minute rush by motorists to pay outstanding traffic tickets ahead of the end of the amnesty tomorrow.

It says it has observed a significant increase in walk-in traffic at Tax Offices island wide as well as online payments.

TAJ says several tax offices will operate between 10 o’clock tomorrow morning and 2 o’clock in the afternoon to facilitate the last-minute rush.

These are the Santa Cruz, Kingston, Constant Spring, Montego Bay, Spanish Town, May Pen, Mandeville, Savanna-la-Mar, St Ann’s Bay and Port Maria offices.

TAJ says the Portmore Tax Office will continue its regular Saturday opening time of 10 o’clock in the morning and 4 o’clock in the afternoon.
