Dunbeholden head coach Michael Cohen says his team is ready to put a stop to Molynes United’s unbeaten run in the Red Stripe Premier League when both teams clash tomorrow at the Royal Lakes field.

Cohen’s men will enter the contest oozing confidence, having won their previous two encounters against Portmore United and Vere United, respectively. Molynes United, the surprise leaders of the competition, have won all their four matches so far in the tournament.

Cohen said his team has prepared well for this encounter and he is very confident that they will get a positive result against their opponents.

“I know that we can beat them. We just have to stick to our game plan and we should be good,” Cohen said.

“Molynes United are a very good team because we have watched them play and they are a very fit and vibrant team with a lot of good young players,” he said.

“They are also a tough team because they are at the top of the table and they have been doing well, and so it should be a very exciting game for the fans. We just have to just go out and apply ourselves like we did in the last two games that we won,” Cohen said.

After starting the season with two straight defeats, Dunbeholden have recovered well and things are now looking good as they set their sights on a spot in the play-offs.

“We have been moving from strength to strength because at the start of the season we made some mistakes, but we have been improving and every game we play, we are getting better and better,” Cohen said.

“At this point of last season, we were at the bottom of the table because we lost our first four games, but this season we have won two and lost two, and so things are much better for us,” he said.
