Traffic changes ahead of CB-hosted Pan 2017 event

As CB Foods gets ready to host its annual PAN 2017 event, tomorrow at the Half-Way Tree Transport Centre, motorists are being advised of several traffic changes being made to accommodate the event.

Between the hours of 5 a.m., on Sunday and 3 a.m. on Monday, traffic on Constant Spring Road will be diverted at two points. West King's House Road will allow left turns off Constant Spring Road up to Waterloo Road, while South Avenue will allow right turns to Eastwood Park Road and left turn up to Waterloo Road.

No right turn will be allowed off Eastwood Park Road in the vicinity of Courtney Walsh Drive traffic will be directed to continue along Eastwood Park Road. Only JUTC passenger vehicles will be allowed down Constant Spring Road and on to North Odeon Avenue through Eastwood Park Road.

Police will be on duty between the hours stipulated above and individuals are being urged to obey the instructions of the officers. Business operators and other persons conducting business within the affected areas are being asked to communicate their situations to the law enforcers, who will allow them permission to continue operation at their discretion.

The event is expected to get under way at 12 p.m., tomorrow and is slated to end at 8 p.m. A concert featuring Agent Sasco, Sizzla and Chris Martin is slated to start at 6 p.m.

Admission to the event is free. Miss Kitty and comedian Dufton 'Duffy' Shepherd will be the event's hosts. Pan chicken at the event will attract a cost of $300.
