The Vendetta Boss, Alkaline, is booked for Dream Weekend 2026. The announcement comes as Dream Entertainment reveals that the iconic summer festival will be leaving Negril after 16 years and making a major move to Jamaica’s north coast, Montego Bay, next year.

“The ultimate Caribbean party experience is turning up the heat for 2026 with a bold new chapter and an even bolder artiste line-up,” the promoters said of the event that unfolds July 30 to August 3 next year

Alkaline is set to deliver a one-of-a-kind performance, only at Dream Weekend 2026, as the festival turns the page for a brand-new chapter. Known for delivering hits and commanding massive crowds locally and overseas, Alkaline’s presence signals a bold, new era for the Dream brand.

“Alkaline represents the voice of a generation and the pinnacle of modern dancehall,” said Scott Dunn, group managing director of Dream Entertainment Limited. “Bringing him on exclusively for Dream Weekend 2026 is more than about a performance, but more so a cultural moment. It symbolises our growth, our ambition, and our commitment to pushing boundaries.”

Known for hits like Champion Boy, After All, and Ocean Wave, Alkaline’s dominance in dancehall continues to reshape the genre’s global image. His exclusive performance will be the only one of its kind in the local entertainment scene for summer 2026. Now a staple on Jamaica’s entertainment calendar, the event drew thousands of local patrons and tourists alike to Negril every Emancipendence week. The 2026 staging promises Dream’s signature themed parties, premium entertainment, and an immersive cultural experience set against the stunning backdrop of Montego Bay’s picturesque waterfront venues.

“The move to MoBay is a big deal. It shows our growth as one of the longest standing party series in Jamaica, it shows our evolution, and elevates the experience for our patrons,” Dunn continued. “We’ve built something special in Negril, but now it’s time to take Dream to another level, and who better to lead that charge than Alkaline? This is a statement.”

Limited pre-sold tickets are now available.
