Manufacturers Caribbean Foods Ltd have expanded their product line in the form of an oat beverage called Foska Oatmilk to cater to the rising demand for a plant-based, healthy, lactose-free milk alternative for the Jamaican community.

“Foska Oatmilk is packed with the nutrients the body needs ,with added vitamins and minerals. It has the versatility to be used in many ways, such as in porridges, baking, making shakes and smoothies, with your cereal, or even just drinking,” said Brand Manager Tiffany Gowdy.

Adding that the Foska Oatmilk also pairs well with the Foska Oats products and can be used to make delicious oatmeal cookies and overnight oats, she added that other benefits include using the dairy- and soya-free product in the same way as cow’s milk. It contains no added preservatives or artificial flavours and is a good source of calcium, is low-fat, and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Foska has recently teamed up with Lesley James, otherwise known as ‘Lesleycooks’ on her social media platforms, to create delicious recipes using the Foska products. Lesley describes herself as a certified food lover. She creates recipes and has an added knack for food styling and food photography. She enjoys using the most unlikely ingredients to create masterful dishes. One such is a chocolate chip banana bread using the Foska Oatmilk.
