The Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (JHTA), Montego Bay Chapter, opened their 2023 party season by invading the grounds of the 18th-century Rose Hall Great House last Saturday night with an event tagged ‘Dance Party of the Year’. Under the command of RJR94 FM’s DJ Donovan Dacres, over 300 revellers partied until 1 a.m. to raise funds for three critical projects which influence the lives of children of house No. 9 at the SOS Children’s Village, their Save the Child project, and the School for the Deaf in Lethe. Between Loaded Bun’s tasty escoveitch fish, bammy, jerked chicken and pork, and Appleton rum, patrons were delivered an exciting treat.
