Medical entrepreneur Dr Kingsley Chin will be the guest speaker of the Educational Foundation for Children's Care Inc (EFCCI) dinner to be held on Sunday, October 2, 2016.

The annual dinner, which will be held at the Knutsford Court Hotel in St Andrew, starting at 4 p.m., raises much-needed funds for children at the Alta Vista Children's Village in Four Paths, Clarendon.

Chin, who was born in Buff Bay, Portland, has more than 20 years of health-care experience in building companies, managing funds, and practising as a board-certified orthopaedic and spine surgeon. He is also the founder and CEO of KIC Venture Funds.

He has also written extensively and is the author of multiple books on the subjects of medicine, business leadership, motivation, and success.

Chin has done surgeries in Jamaica at the University Hospital of the West Indies and the Andrews Memorial Hospital

The EFCCI seeks to mould, guide, educate, and focus the lives of children in Jamaica who have been abandoned, abused, or neglected towards achieving their God-given potential, as well as help them to become useful and productive citizens. The foundation is supported by the goodwill and generosity of individuals and organisations that share similar goals.

Individuals who wish to support the foundation can visit the EFCCI's website at
