Woman feared dead, 10 children injured in separate St Andrew crashes

Police are now responding to two separate crashes in rural St Andrew.
In the first incident a female motorist is feared dead after her motor vehicle ran over a precipice along the Newcastle main road sometime after 3 p.m.
The Gleaner has gathered that the body is still trapped inside the vehicle.
The police and other emergency responders are at the scene.
In the other crash, reports are that at least 10 children are being treated at the University Hospital of the West Indies for injuries after a bus transporting them overturned along the Dublin Castle Road in Gordon Town.
Reports are that the crash, which occurred about 3:30 p.m., involved a Toyota Hiace bus.
The traffic police are investigating both incidents.
