St Elizabeth farmer dies in three-vehicle crash

A 45-year-old St Elizabeth man died from injuries he sustained in a vehicular crash in the parish on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Hayne Foster, a farmer of Park District, St Elizabeth.

Reports are that about 1:50 p.m., Foster was driving a Champion CG motorcycle along the Holt Main Road in Santa Cruz when, upon reaching a section of the roadway, he was involved in a three-vehicle collision with a Toyota Fielder and a Toyota Voxy.

All three vehicles, including the motorcycle ridden by Foster, were extensively damaged, and he was severely injured.

He was taken to the Mandeville Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Santa Cruz Traffic Department is conducting an investigation into the incident.
