Man dies after being hit while crossing Spanish Town Bypass

A man has died from injuries sustained after being hit by a car while crossing the Spanish Town Bypass in St Catherine on Friday.
He has been identified as 35-year-old Odaine Vincent of Windsor Road, Kingston 2.
Reports are that Vincent was walking across the road when he was hit by a Mercedez Benz motor car.
He suffered severe injuries and was assisted to the Spanish Town Hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.
The driver of the vehicle was warned for prosecution.
The St Catherine North Traffic Department is investigating the matter.
