The police in St Thomas are probing the chopping deaths of two persons in separate incidents.
This afternoon, an unidentified woman was found with multiple chop wounds in Roselle district.
No motive nor suspects have been unearthed as yet.
The murder comes hours after police in St Thomas launched a manhunt for a man who they believe killed 39-year-old Eaton Whittler, a farmer in the parish.
Police reported that around on 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Whittler was at a party at a shop when an argument developed between him and another patron.
A fight reportedly broke out, and during which Whittler was stabbed in the chest and belly.
He was pronounced dead at hospital.
The incident sparked a manhunt which went long into yesterday afternoon, ending with the suspect being caught.
Sleuths have not formally laid charges against him as yet.
