PM Holness departs Jamaica for CARICOM heads of government meeting

Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness will today depart the island to attend the 50th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
The meeting is being held in St Kitts and Nevis.
In a media release, the Office of the Prime Minister said Holness, who is the outgoing chair of CARICOM, will deliver remarks as he joins other regional leaders for important deliberations during the period.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to return to Jamaica on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
During his absence, Olivia Grange, Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, will be in charge of the Government.
