Woman killed in Three Chains district, Manchester, soldier in custody

A Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) soldier is in police custody as investigators probe the death of a woman in Three Chains, Manchester, this afternoon.

Reports indicate that the soldier turned himself in to investigators after the woman was found dead at her home in the community.

Details surrounding the circumstances of the incident remain unclear at this time.

However, the Manchester police have launched an investigation into the matter.
