Former Table Tennis President, Godfrey Lothian passes away
Former President of the Jamaica Table Tennis Association (JTTA), Godfrey Lothian, passed away on Tuesday.
Lothian, who is credited for playing a major role in resurrecting the sport of table tennis in the island, was reportedly found at home unconscious, after complaining earlier, that he was not feeling well.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Lothian took control of the JTTA in 2013, but was earlier this year replaced as president of the organisation after a two-year battle for leadership.
