Jamaica's Roshawn Clarke stumbled on the last two barriers to finish third in the final of the men's 400 metres hurdles at the World Under-20 Championships at the Pascual Guerrero Olympic Stadium in Cali, Colombia on Friday.

Clarke had a slight advantage going up to the ninth and penultimate hurdle but lost his footing after going over.

He again failed to navigate the final hurdle smoothly although at that stage he was already passed by Turkey's Ismail Nezir and Slovenia's Matic Ian Gucek.

Nezir won in 48.84 seconds as Gucek did 48.91 with both times being national Under-20 records. Clarke stopped the clock at 49.62 seconds.
