Reggae Girlz to face South Korea

JAMAICA’S REGGAE Girlz are set to play South Korea in an international friendly in that country on September 3.

The friendly is scheduled for Hwaseong Sports Complex after which the two countries will play a closed training match on September 6 at Paju National Football Training Centre (NFC).

South Korea are ranked 18th in the world, while Jamaica are ranked 42.

This will be the first ever encounter between the two teams.

With the match scheduled in Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) Women’s International Match Calendar, all players are eligible to be called up.

It will be the Reggae Girlz first game since qualifying for the 2023 FIFA World Cup to be played in Australia and New Zealand.
