A second-minute strike from Lamard Neil carried Vere United to a 1-0 win over Harbour View in their Jamaica Premier League encounter today at the Wembley Centre of Excellence.

The win was Vere's second of the campaign after their 1-0 win last week against Faulkland.

It was the second time in a week that Harbour View were going down 1-0 after they fell to Arnett Gardens last week.

Elsewhere, a hat-trick from leading talisman Trivante Stewart carried leaders Mount Pleasant to a 3-0 win over Dunbeholden at Drax Hall.

In the day’s other matches, Arnett Gardens defeated Tivoli Gardens 2-1, while the Humble Lion vs Waterhouse and Cavalier vs Montego Bay United games both ended 0-0.
