Remona Burchell (left) passed the fast-starting Briana Williams to win the women's 100 metres ‘B’ final at the Racers' Grand Prix this evening at the National Stadium. Burchell clocked a season's best of 11.17 seconds to win, with Williams fading into third after also being passed by Tia Clayton.

Jamaica’s Remona Burchell took the women’s 100 metres ‘B’ final in a season’s best of 11.17 seconds at the Racers’ Grand Prix this evening at the National Stadium.

First-year senior athlete and two-time World Under-20 Championships gold medallist Tia Clayton clocked a personal best of 11.23 seconds for second, while Briana Williams, who had the best start, faded in the latter stages and had to settle for third in a time of 11.30.
