The National Works Agency (NWA) is warning the public against using the Bog Walk Gorge in St Catherine amid the risk of further rockfalls, as a large boulder is now affecting the corridor.

Sections of Jamaica have been experiencing increased rainfall.

The NWA, in a post on X, formerly Twitter, said the roadway has been reduced to single-lane traffic due to the boulder.

The agency said the road is being affected in the Kent Village area.

Unless necessary, persons are being asked by the NWA to avoid using the road at this time, as it might be unsafe due to further rockfalls.
