The National Water Commission (NWC) is reporting that some customers in Manchester are experiencing low pressure or no water supply due to drought conditions impacting operations at its Moravia Treatment Plant.

Affected areas include Christiana, Coleyville, Chudleigh, Sedburgh, Cobbla, Glencoe, Limit, Ticky Ticky and adjoining areas.

The NWC, in a media release on Tuesday, informed that the plant is operating at approximately 40 per cent of its production capacity.

The commission said it continues to implement drought mitigation measures, such as water supply regulations, as well as the trucking of water to the affected areas.

Customers can call the NWC's Mandeville office at 876-962-2682/876-962-8494 to request truck delivery of water.
