The eventual winner at the Daytime Emmy Awards, which were announced on April 28, was Taking Flight, a film which was inspired by the inventor of the Radio Flyer wagon Antonio Pasin and is a story about a small boy's boring day with his grandfather which turns into a "larger-than-life journey" in which he narrowly escapes wild monkeys and battles aliens to save the universe.
