Stocks Round Up | Jetcon today's top winner, Palace Amusement leads decliners

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index closed the week on a losing note.

Heavy trading ended with an advance/decline ratio of 37/37

The JSE Combined Index declined by 864.38 points or 0.20 per cent to close at 428,195.85

The JSE Main Market Index was down 749.88 points or 0.18 per cent to close at 426,420.61 while the Junior Market Index declined 16.67 points or 0.50 per cent to close at 3,327.84

The JSE USD Equities Index declined 0.20 points or 0.10 per cent, closing at 200.95

Jetcon up 10.32 per cent to close at $1.71
Express Catering up 9.13 per cent to close at $5.14
Eppley 7.50% Preference Shares up 7.47 per cent to close at $10.21
iCreate up 6.49 per cent to close at $0.82
Sagicor Real Estate X Fund up 5.89 per cent to close at $8.99


Palace Amusement down 12.85 per cent to close at $1,023.62
Sterling Investments down 10.66 per cent to close at $2.85
Medical Disposables down 9.90 per cent to close at $4.37
SOS down 6.67 per cent closing at $8.40
Lasco Financial down 6.47 per cent closing at $3.47

Market volume

Some 16.58 million units valued at over $644.66 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were Wigton, followed by Sagicor Select-Financial and FESCO.
