Former Prime Minister P.J. Patterson celebrated his 90th birthday in grand style on the lawns of The University of the West Indies, Mona campus last Saturday. The event was a vibrant display of colour, culture, and Caribbean pride, with dignitaries like Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness, Opposition Leader Mark Golding, and other distinguished guests, joining Patterson’s family and close friends for the milestone. Adding historic significance, Patterson gifted the university a striking Pan-Africanist mural, further cementing his legacy of Afro-Caribbean advocacy. Here are the social highlights.
