Sheryl Lee Ralph is ever the icon in the Rhea Costa Salma dress, Tiffany & Co glasses and Chanel earrings. She added a touch of home with a purse by Jamaican-American designer Brandon Blackwood, who designed the dress she wore to the Emmys in 2022, where she won her first Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for the role of Barbara Howard in 'Abbott Elementary'.

Surrounded by a glowing circle of love and admiration, Sheryl Lee Ralph was honoured on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with a crowd of friends, family, colleagues and sorors cheering her on. Among those celebrating the Jamaican-American icon were Dreamgirls co-star Loretta Devine, Abbott Elementary creator Quinta Brunson, and the show’s main cast, including Tyler James Williams and Janelle James. Longtime friend Jenifer Lewis, her husband Vincent Hughes, children Ivy Coco and Etienne Maurice, and proud members of her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, were also in attendance. The event radiated warmth, pride, and joy — befitting a star whose light has long shone across generations. Something Extra brings you the highlights.
