AK-47 seized in St Catherine

The police seized an AK-47 assault rifle in St Catherine about about 11:50 p.m. last night.
The police say the gun containing ammunition was seized in Frazer’s Content, Spanish Town.
According to reports, a police team was on patrol in the community when they arrived at a karaoke that was in progress.
On their arrival, three men were reportedly seen running from the venue onto premises and were chased.
The police say the men escaped and a search of the premises revealed the firearm and ammunition.
