Two shot, one fatally in Clarendon

The Clarendon police have launched a probe into the murder of 46-year-old Egbert Williams and the injuring of another man in May Pen.
The police say about 1:30 this morning Williams was reportedly sitting on his bicycle in the vicinity of the May Pen Clock Tower when two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, walk up to him and opened gunfire.
Williams, who is of a Windsor Avenue, May Pen address, was reportedly hit in the upper body.
A 53-year-old taxi operator who was in the vicinity was shot in his left leg.
He was taken to hospital where he was treated.
