Camperdown High alumni to raise funds for ‘Adopt a Child’ initiative
As part of ongoing efforts to contribute to the welfare of students, Camperdown High alumni continue in their quest to raise funds for their 'Adopt a Child' programme, with its annual fundraising weekend of activities in October.
Launched in 2010, 'Adopt a Child' gives the alumni a platform to alleviate some of the needs of students of the institution financially. The support given by the alumni is usually in the form of assistance with school fees, uniform, books and lunch expenses, among other necessities.
Later this month, the group will be hosting a series of fundraising activities, which is designed to engage all patrons in events geared to meet the interests and tastes of persons from all walks of life while offering an opportunity for supporting a worthy cause.
