The National Water Commission (NWC) says it has been forced to shutdown the Green Acres water supply facility in St Catherine due to mechanical issues.
Consequently, several communities in the parish are now without their regular water supply.
The affected communities include: Bendon, Green Acres, Bellevue Heights, St Johns Meadows, Naseberry Grove, Mercury Gardens and Johnson Pen.
The utility supplier is advising that every effort is being made to complete the normal necessary repairs by tomorrow, December 24.
