We Inspire Girls closed out its Child’s Month campaign with a free Vision Board Workshop on Friday, May 30, at Belair High School in Mandeville, Manchester. This hands-on session was designed to empower and equip young girls to visualise their futures, unlock their potential, and believe boldly in the power of their dreams.

We Inspire Girls is a movement dedicated to building confident, purpose-driven girls through mentorship, empowerment events, and educational outreach. With every workshop, the team aims to ignite passion, plant purpose, and raise up the next generation of women leaders.

“We believe that when a girl can see it, she can achieve it,” said Cortia Bingham, founder of We Inspire Girls. “This workshop is about planting seeds of hope and self-belief early, and showing girls that their future is theirs to shape.”

Since 2017, the organisation has been delivering free Vision Board Workshops in high schools across Jamaica, reaching more than 10,000 girls. Open to girls ages 14–17, the workshops provide mentorship, creative tools, and practical guidance to help students set personal goals and envision a life of purpose, confidence, and possibility.

Marielle Wade, brand manager at National Bakery, attended the event and spoke about the importance of investing in youth empowerment,

“National’s partnership with We Inspire Girls Jamaica reflects our commitment to empowering the next generation of female leaders. By supporting this transformative initiative led by Cortia Bingham, National is helping young girls realise their worth, embrace their potential, and shape a brighter future for themselves and our nation.”

Students also received their own vision boards and participated in guided goal-setting activities. The energy in the room reflected the impact of the initiative, with students expressing excitement about their dreams and future goals.

The workshop was made possible through the generous support of National, Lifespan Spring Water, Students’ Loan Bureau, Serge, and Stayfree.
