A man was stabbed to death in St Ann Tuesday night, becoming the 49th murder victim in that police division since the start of the year.

The deceased man is 38-year-old Roy Paul Annikie of Traceyville, Lime Hall.

He was reportedly stabbed and killed in his community by unknown assailants about 11:45 p.m.

The St Ann’s Bay Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the murder.
