Manchester man killed by tree
A Manchester community has been plunged into mourning over the death of a senior citizen who was killed by a tree.
The deceased has been identified as 65-year-old farmer Lloyd Grant of Race Course.
Reports are that about 11:10 a.m. on Friday, Grant cut the tree, which fell on top of him, causing severe injuries.
He was later pronounced dead at the Mandeville Regional Hospital.
The Mandeville Criminal Investigation Branch has launched a probe into the death, which is being treated as a case of misadventure.
