Clarendon man shot and injured, vehicle set ablaze

A 65-year-old man from Clarendon was hospitalised after being shot by unknown assailants who reportedly set his vehicle on fire in the community of Nairne Castle in James Hill, Clarendon.

Explosions were reportedly heard at about 8:13 p.m. on Wednesday, and the police summoned.

On arrival, officers found the elderly man suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was transported to a hospital, where he has been admitted for treatment.

The Frankfield police are investigating.
