Traffic changes in Black River for fireworks show

The St Elizabeth police are advising the public of temporary road closures and traffic changes to facilitate the safe staging of today’s New Year fireworks show in Black River.
The following intersections will be closed at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31:
High Street and Exchange Drive
No through traffic on High Street. Traffic diverted north along Exchange Drive. Pedestrian and authorised access only.
High Street and School Street
No through traffic on High Street. Traffic diverted north along School Street. Pedestrian and authorised access only.
Traffic diversions are as follows:
Exchange Drive
Two-way traffic is to be diverted north along Exchange Drive, onto Lovers Lane, then onto Central Road.
School Street
Two-way traffic is to be diverted north along School Street, Drive, onto Central Road and onto Lovers Lane.
Motorists are being asked to comply with the instructions of the police.
