Body of St Catherine woman found at home

The body of 62-year-old Maria Thompson was discovered at her home in St Catherine on Tuesday night.

It's reported that around 9:30 p.m., passersby alerted police to a scene in Innswood, St Catherine.

Officers responded and found Thompson’s decomposed body inside the residence.

The scene was processed, and the body was removed for a postmortem examination.

The Spanish Town Criminal Investigation Branch is investigating the matter.
