Illegal gun seized in Nain, St Elizabeth - police

The St Elizabeth police have seized a firearm in Nain, amid ongoing efforts to disrupt illegal gun possession in the parish.
Police reports are that about 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, a team conducted an operation at a premises in the Nain district, after receiving information.
During a search of the location, officers reportedly found one .38 Smith & Wesson revolver with no visible serial number.
No arrests were made in connection with the find.
