St Elizabeth police charge man in fatal home invasion in New Town

The St Elizabeth police have now charged Kimeko George, alias 'Shane Brown', who was listed as wanted in connection with a fatal gun attack in New Town, Black River.
Brown, who recently surrendered to the police, is charged with murder, possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorised possession of ammunition, and using a firearm to commit a felony.
He was charged last Friday.
A date is to be set for him to appear in court.
He is accused of the January 3 shooting death of Basil Bruce in New Town.
Reports are that about 10:00 p.m., Bruce was at home when armed men invaded his premises and shot and killed him.
During the investigation, George was listed as wanted.
He later surrendered to the police and was subsequently charged.
