NWC to conduct sewer pipeline repairs along River Bay Road in Montego Bay
The National Water Commission (NWC) has reported that repair works will be undertaken on its sewer network along River Bay Road in Montego Bay, St James.
The works are expected to last for one month, starting on Monday, February 2.
According to the NWC, the repairs will take place along River Bay Road, extending from the intersection of Railway Lane to the River Bay Road Sewage Pump Station in Montego Bay, St James.
To accommodate the repairs, River Bay Road, between Slaughter House Road and the intersection of Railway Lane and River Bay Road, will be closed to vehicular traffic for the duration of the project.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes where possible.
The public is also advised that there may be intermittent dust and noise disturbances for the duration of the works.
