Damion Dunn, otherwise called ‘Billy’, of Gulf Heights in Gordon Pen, St Catherine, was killed on January 9, 2026.

The three men accused of the deadly gun attack on St Catherine teacher and construction consultant Damion Dunn were today further remanded in the parish court, with the case being transferred to the Gun Court.

Before the court are alleged gangsters 23-year-old Tyrick Fennell, otherwise called ‘Six’, a garbage collector with addresses in Clarendon and St Catherine; 25-year-old Jevarne Swimmer, otherwise called ‘Razor’; and 46-year-old Wilber Edwards, otherwise called ‘Twin’ and ‘Rolex’, both of Lysson, St Thomas.

They are charged with murder, conspiracy to murder, possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorised possession of ammunition, using a firearm to commit a felony, and being part of a criminal organisation.

Dunn, otherwise called ‘Billy’, of Gulf Heights in Gordon Pen, St Catherine, was killed on January 9, 2026.

Allegations are that about 7:50 p.m., Dunn was driving his 2005 Suzuki Grand Vitara sports utility vehicle along Gordon Boulevard in Gordon Pen when he was pounced upon by men travelling in a 2017 Toyota Axio motor car.

The accused men were allegedly aboard the vehicle.

Swimmer and Fennell allegedly exited the car with handguns and proceeded to fire several shots, hitting Dunn, who was still seated at the steering wheel of the SUV.

The men reportedly returned to the vehicle, which sped away.

The severely injured Dunn was assisted to the Spanish Town Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A police investigation resulted in the three men being arrested and charged.
