Paulwell's big 55
Opposition Spokesman on Energy and Mining Phillip Paulwell celebrated his 55th birthday in fine style at Fort Charles, Port Royal in his Kingston East constituency.
On Saturday, January 14, friends, supporters and colleagues turned out in their numbers to party the night away.
Music pounded through the air as the guest of honour was fashionably late and greeted his guests with warm hugs. Guests included his fellow Comrades as well as his political rivals, who have nothing but respect for this fun-loving politician.
When it came time for the formalities, opposition Spokesman on Finance and Planning Peter Phillips welcomed all present while commending and congratulating his fellow Comrade. Apologies were offered for opposition leader Portia Simpson-Miller whose absence was due to the loss of her sister.
Of course, it would not be a party without a fabulous birthday cake, and that it was. He cut it with women who mean a lot to him. This included: his daughter Terry-Ann, politician Angela Brown-Burke, attorney-at-law Sophia Frazer-Binns and registered nurse Donna Aris.
The party went on into wee hours of the morning.
