While many rang in the new year at the stroke of midnight, A-listers took a fresh approach, rising and shining at the crack of dawn on the first day of the year for the highly anticipated Sunnation Sunrise Breakfast Party.

Socialites made their way to the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, where they were shuttled to the Mountain Lodge Estate to partake in all the festivities.

Entering a tropical oasis and slaying in fine fashion, those in attendance basked in the rising sun, while indulging in pulsating music from DJ Lantern of Jamrock, along with DJ Barrie Hype, Jazzy T and Nocturnal, all from Miami, fuelled by a wide array of cocktails available.

Speaking of indulgence, many escaped the party scene to awaken their appetites with all the savoury offerings at the food court just a stone's throw away.

Then just when you thought the morning couldn't get any better, soca artiste Bunji Garlin blazed the stage and had the audience gyrating. Sunrise Breakfast Party was certified epic and definitely the place to celebrate the new year!
