Wolmer's players celebrate a goal during their ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup quarter-final against Charlie Smith at the Ashenheim Stadium at Jamaica College. The game was called off before the start of the second half due to a waterlogged field with Wolmer's leading 3-0.

The ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup quarter-final encounter between Wolmer's Boys School and Charlie Smith has been called off with 45 minutes to play, due to a waterlogged field at the Ashenheim Stadium at Jamaica College.

Both teams went into the break with Wolmer's leading 3-0 but after heavy and persistent showers, referee Carvel Banton decided to call of the game after a pitch inspection during the half-time break.

The match is significant as it will help to determine the semi-finalists for the competition with Wolmer's only needing to avoid defeat to book their spot in the final four.

Wolmer's entered the game on four points from their previous two games for second place behind Kingston College on goal difference. They were one point ahead of Camperdown, who were playing KC in the group's other game at Stadium East.

ISSA is expected to announce a date for the completion of the fixture in short order.
