GAYNSTEAD HIGH School netballers will be aiming to continue their perfect record in both the junior and senior categories when second-round action in the ISSA Urban Netball Competition gets under way today at the Leila Robinson Courts.

The Dalton Hinds–coached teams have been in terrific form all season, winning all their matches in the preliminary round. With quarterfinal spots up for grabs, they will be hoping to extend their winning streak. The top two teams in each of four groups advance to the quarterfinals.

The juniors will be first on court as they open against Camperdown High at 11 a.m. while the seniors face Jonathan Grant High at 3 p.m.

In what will be an extremely busy day, Vauxhall High School will also be looking to maintain their unbeaten run. Their juniors meet Bridgeport at 11 a.m. before the seniors take the court an hour later at noon against Campion College.

Following a defeat to Vauxhall in their final preliminary-round game, defending champions St Catherine High will be hoping to rebound. Seeking their fourth consecutive title, the St John’s Road team will face neighbouring parish rivals Jonathan Grant at noon.
