Wray & Nephew Domino League - Big semis showdown tomorrow

The battle for supremacy in the Premier League phase of the 2012 J. Wray & Nephew-sponsored White Overproof Rum Western Domino League will move into its semi-final phase tomorrow afternoon at Father Bull's Restaurant & Bar in Long Bay, Trelawny, with a double-header.
In the games slated for 1 p.m., defending champions Fighter Jet will lock horns with Assassin in one game, while in the other, Strike Force will take on the might of Tuff Gong.
"Tuff Gong defeated Strike Force twice in the preliminary round, and Assassin did likewise to the champion (Fighter Jet), so Tuff Gong and Assassin should start favourites," said Walford Morgraige, the president of the Western Domino League. "However, based on the recent form of both Strike Force and Fighter Jet, I am expecting a lot of fireworks."
In last weekend's final quarter-final game, Tuff Gong sealed their semi-final place with a convincing 300-259 win against Deeside Untouchables, which saw them joining Fighter Jet, Assassin, and Strike Force in the last four.
LONG BAY ELIMINATED
In the lone Division One game, which was played prior to the Tuff Gong versus Deeside Untouchables game last weekend, Dynasty defeated Long Bay 300-230 to seal their place in the Division One semi-final alongside Unity Striker and Cool Waves. The final semi-final place will be decided between Uptown and Slickers tomorrow.
In the Premier League, the breakdown of the prize package reads as follows: first place - $100, 000; second place - $70,000; third place - $50,000; and $30,000 for fourth place. In Division One, the breakdown reads: the champions - $65,000; second place - $40,000; third place - $30,000; and fourth place -
In the earlier stages of the competition, Tuff Gong defeated Assassin 300-270 to win the Mid-Season title. However, in the knockout final, Assassin took revenge on Tuff Gong with a close 300-299 win.
