Seafreight appoints new vice-president, sales and marketing for the Caribbean region

SeaFreight Agencies (USA) Inc is pleased to announce the appointment of Cyril Seyjagat to the position of vice-president, sales and marketing, Caribbean region. The appointment became effective October 8, 2012.

A native of Trinidad & Tobago, Seyjagat achieved his secondary schooling there, followed later on in the United Kingdom, pursuing specialised studies in various aspects of the shipping industry, including maritime law, marine insurance and ship chartering. His working career in the industry began in the customs brokerage field, later on to agency management, vessel operations, and eventually entering the liner trades based in St Lucia. In 1998, Seyjagat was transferred to the United States of America and continued his career with CMA CGM.

Cyril joins Ana Molina-Diaz and Danny Vargas who will jointly be responsible for the management of the commercial activity of Seafreight Line's services.

Today, Seafreight Line operates eight vessels to 21 ports in the United States, Caribbean, Central and South American trades.

With this appointment, Seafreight continues to strengthen and streamline its management structure and operations in preparation for further service enhancements.
