I'm actually open to restrictions, but I'd like to see the research first. Banning social media for under-16s sounds simple until you realize many countries are struggling to enforce it. Whatever Jamaica does needs to be realistic, not just symbolic. - @TheDevMac876

I agree. We also need to speak about increasing the available social infrastructure in the communities, to support their integration into their community. - @gavinmyaz

Ban them. Also ban tablets in schools. - @R_Winty

Sign me up for the survey, I agree there should be a ban. My only hope is that in the recommendations, we can create more green spaces so kids can find something else to do like play and interact with each other face to face interactions. - @Mello_Mel27

Priority should be medical facilities, equipment, trained staff and doctors. - Damion Ricketts

Anybody give them phone, computer, tablets, internet and other devices must be responsible for their children. Let the parents parent their children. - Lisa Smith Bryan

The increasing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and sleep deprivation amongst our children caused by social media is a cause for concern. It is part of the health minister's job to protect our future generations from their own demise. - Ptah Hunter

So how is that gonna stop? U gonna ban all gadgets because once the gadgets are still coming in Jamaica what's the point? - Kevin Powell

Waste of time you can’t out smart these kids so don’t even try. - Je'rome A Richards

Waste of money, these studies have already been done, just look them up! - Christine Simpson-Mensah

Don't bother with it. Leave the Pinckney them alone. Fix the hospitals, fix the roads, like the foolishness that happened on Long Lane past weekend. Stop control people lives. - Wendy-Ann Gayle

You need to significantly strengthen CDA. Too many kids on social media begging; some a dem not even sleep ah night-time. - Mills Jamaica

Wi nuh need no study, no survey. Just put the restrictions in place. - Paulette Jackson

I look forward to that. We must do everything to protect kids online by banning certain platforms. - willryanwilson

That's one withdrawal syndrome after a created addiction. - @delcitacoldwata

The best thing I’ve ever heard in a while. - @one_badcop28
