Asafa wins 100 metre in Norway

Jamaica’s former world-record holder Asafa Powell won the men’s 100 metres in a very close finish at the Bislett Games in Oslo, Norway today.



Powell just got the better of Daniel Bailey of Antigua and fellow Jamaican Michael Frater.



Powell and Bailey were credited with 10.07, while Frater clocked 10.08.



Double Olympic sprint medallist Kerron Stewart of Jamaica won the women’s equivalent in a time of 10.99.
