West Indies struggle to meet target

The West Indies chasing a world record victory target of 437 runs were 178 for four at Sports Time on the final day of the opening test against Sri Lanka at Guyana.
West Indies resumed this morning on 96 for one, and lost Dwayne Bravo for 83, Marlon Samuels for 10 and Shivnarine Chanderpual for three.
Bravo, promoted to open the batting for the first time in tests, struck 10 fours and a six before he fell to ace off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan.
Ramaresh Sarwan is undefeated on 54 and with him is captain Chris Gayle.
