Two children are traumatised after their mother and her male companion were killed before them in Savanna Cross, Clarendon this morning.

The woman, 25 year old Indria Coleman of Hunts Pen in the parish reportedly moved to the community on Sunday.

Her companion, Carl Ellington, 50, of the United States also moved to the community on Sunday after arriving in Jamaica that same day.

The police said both persons were killed after gunmen kicked down the door of their house.

They were also robbed of an undetermined sum of money.

The police are not sure if robbery was the only motive for the murders.
