DJ is to appear in court

Dancehall artiste David ‘Mavado’ Brooks is to appear in the Gun court today.
The 27 year old DJ, who is known for his gangster lyrics, has been charged with two counts of shooting with intent and illegal possession of a firearm.
He was arrested and charged on Wednesday after he reportedly turned himself in to detectives from the Major Investigation Task Force.
The charges arose from an incident on July 27 last year in the Mannings Hill community of St. Andrew.
Two persons were reportedly shot during the incident.
