Olympic Gardens defeat Barbican

Olympic Gardens recorded a 2-1 extra-time victory over Barbican at Cling Cling Oval yesterday in Round Three of the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association’s Jackie Bell Knockout Competition.



The teams had battled to a 1-1 draw after full time, but Gary Knight handed Olympic Gardens victory in the 109th minute.



In other games, Maverley Hughenden stopped New Kingston 3-1 at Molynes Field, Constant Spring beat Meadhaven United 2-1 at Constant Spring field and Real Mona defeated Stony Hill 7-6 on penalties at Golden Spring, after the team had battled to a 1-1 draw after full and extra time.
